Here's a rewritten version: Hotel Review: I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and overall, I was impressed with the service and amenities. However, there was one notable inconsistency that left a bit of a sour taste. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast option, which I had prepaid for. On the second day, when I asked the restaurant staff if I could take my breakfast to my room, they kindly obliged. However, on the third day, when I made the same request, a different supervisor informed me that this was not allowed. I was disappointed by this inconsistency, and I couldn't help but feel that the rules should be applied uniformly. It's understandable that policies may change, but it's essential to communicate these changes clearly to both staff and guests. To improve the guest experience, I suggest that the hotel establish clear, consistent policies and communicate them effectively to all staff members. This would help avoid confusion and ensure that guests receive the same level of service throughout their stay. Despite this hiccup, I would still recommend this hotel to others.

Such a great location! We were on the 8th floor and although this is on Courtney place you couldn’t hear any street noise at all. The room itself was very clean and neat and was great value for money! Definitely enough space for a couple to stay in comfortably. I think it would also be worth mentioning the bathroom is mostly glass with a frosted glass strip in the middle which means you can see pretty much everything from outside the bathroom while someone is showering. While I was staying with my partner this wasn’t an issue but if you’re staying with a friend this might be a small issue.

Loved the bed, big and comfortable. Lovely bathroom and great shower. Air con was great and able to be regulated in the room. Room was really spacious. Although I didn't use it the Room service apparently was available 24 hours Really nice restaurant and reasonably priced compared to city restaurants I would definitely stay here again. Location handy for walking anywhere.

I stayed in this hotel after a short stay in Queenstown which was disappointing as the Airbnb I had there was not clean and comparativelyy expensive so the Oaks really shone after that. But overall the room was clean and the location was very good - close to the Te Papa Museum and other attractions. My room was near the elevator but I it was very quiet.

Miriam

Central and quietly luxurious compared to the surroundings. Helpful staff and they did not change the towels unnecessarily (environmentally friendly). Nice to have an extra door and small entry space between our room door and the corridor as we were right next to the lifts. We never heard them.
